Most often, EVPs have been captured on audiotape. The mysterious voices are not heard at the time of recording; it is only when the tape is played back that the voices are heard. Sometimes amplification and noise filtering is required to hear the voices.

Some EVP is more easily heard and understood than others. And they vary in gender (men and women), age (women and children), tone and emotion. They usually speak in single-words, phrases and short sentences. Sometimes they are just grunts, groans, growling and other vocal noises. EVP has been recorded speaking in various languages.

The quality of EVP also varies. Some are difficult to distinguish and are open to interpretation as to what they are saying. Some EVP, however, are quite clear and easy to understand. EVP often has an electronic or mechanical character to it; sometimes it is natural sounding. The quality of EVP is categorized by researchers:

* Class A: Easily understood by almost anyone with little or no dispute. These are also usually the loudest EVPs.
* Class B: Usually characterized by warping of the voice in certain syllables. Lower in volume or more distant sounding than Class A. Class B is the most common type of EVP.
* Class C: Characterized by excessive warping. They are the lowest in volume (often whispering) and are the hardest to understand.

The most fascinating aspect of EVP is that the voices sometimes respond directly to the persons making the recording. The researchers will ask a question, for example, and the voice will answer or comment. Again, this response is not heard until later when the tape is played back.

Where do the voices come from?

That, of course, is the mystery. No one knows. Some theories are:

* They are voices of people who have died. This is why many researchers go to cemeteries seeking EVPs (and often with great success). In this context, the phenomenon is sometimes called instrumental transcommunication or ITC.
* They are from another dimension. It is theorized that there may be many dimensions of existence, and somehow beings from some other dimension are able to speak and communicate with ours through this method. A good question is, however: How do they know English and other languages of our dimension?
* They come from the researchers' own subconscious. It's been suggested that somehow the researchers' thoughts are projected onto the tape.
* Some people believe that these voices are angelic or demonic in origin.
* Skeptics assert that there is nothing to EVP at all - that the "voices" are either hoaxed, random noise interpreted as voices, real voices already on the tape, or voices picked up from radio, cell phones and other such sources.

Whatever you may determine is the truth, always remember we live in a strange world and the answers to life are not easy to explain or are laid before us.

Rat And Mouse Recipes-

Mice aren't that bad. Especially not with chiles and tortillas! It's all how you look at them. When the big crash hits,or the next big natural disaster, you're going to drool for any extra mice running around your house. Most of these recipes are "Weight Watcher friendly" (Approx. 4 point value).

RECIPE FOR "Enchiladas El Mouse-O FROM EL HOUSE-O"

6 corn tortillas, 6 mice parboiled, stripped, boned, chopped, seasoned. 2-3 large red dried chiles soaked in water 5 min. l chopped green onion, cilantro for decorating. oil/onions. salt pepper to taste,

Make regular enchilada sauce by grinding the soaked chiles in the pot liquor, and straining well to separate the chile skin from the chile's red meat. Then, fry onions, throw sauce in for l minute. Set aside.

Heat tortillas on a greased skillet, drop into sauce until covered, pull out, then fill the sopping wet tortilla with about 2 tbs. mouseburger meat, roll up. Set rolls in a dish, line all six up. Pour remaining sauce on top. Decorate with any old cheese, l chopped green onion. Bake l5 min at 350 degrees. Serve with wine or if you are poor,drink tap water.

SHEPHERD'S RODENT PIE

Not every shepherd can dice a lamb every time his belly rumbles. So many have learned to make do with DICED FIELD MICE or RATS.

Take 4 potatoes, boil, mash, season, add cream, mash some more, line 8" pieshell with them.

Boil six medium sized mice. Rats are ok if you know what they've been eating. No Buick upholstery or graveyards.

If the rodents are the right size, you should have a cup of rat meat (depending if you've cleaned the carcasses well enough.) Season with salt, pepper, cayenne, add l cup blanched, chopped almonds, l cup cracker crumbs, l egg, (reserve l tsp for topping) making a burger. OPTIONAL: bell pepper, onions, cilantro, parsley, thyme, oregano, l can creamed corn, l can of those crunchy chinese things, water chestnuts, chopped olives, a dash of catsup or tomato sauce.

Fill the pie. Cover with more potatoes. Use egg/cream to wipe down pie so it toasts brownish in oven.

Remember, a rodent tastes just like a big rabbit. The taste of the flesh is identical. Ask any concentration camp prisoner or hobo.

TIP: when cooking rodents, pre-soaking up to 5 hours helps take away that pesky rodent flavor. AND the longer you cook it, with the other ingredients, the better the meat tastes.

1 1/2 lbs. SMASHED RAT MEAT (Your local butcher will grind for you) Approx. 2 large rats
1 family sized can vegetable soup
1 can kidney beans with juice

Combine and heat all the ingredients, then simmer 1/2 hour. Break up a couple handful of spaghetti and add. Simmer until the spaghetti is done.

Marijuana is a Gateway Drug

What we have here is a lazy interpretation of statistics. This misnomer is based on the fact that cannabis is the most popular illegal drug around, and as such the people who have used the less popular, harder drugs are likely to have tried marijuana as well.

If you’re still in doubt about this one, consider this: since cannabis was partially legalised in Holland in the 1970s, usage of heroin and cocaine have dropped substantially. If cannabis were a gateway drug, then the legalisation of it would cause an increase in these harder drugs, not a drop!

Cannabis is a More Dangerous Drug than Tobacco

While it’s true that smoked cannabis contains around the same number of carcinogens as a similar amount of smoked tobacco, this is a pointless comparison because of the relative usage. While a heavy smoker may easily work their way through 10-20 cigarettes in a day (and often significantly more), it’s very rare to find anyone who smokes marijuana in quantities even approaching that.

A 1997 UCLA study backs this up further, and states that even prolonged heavy marijuana use causes no serious lung damage. Meat, salt and dairy products present a bigger cancer risk than the humble joint, and for those who are still worried remember that all cancer and respiratory risks can be sidestepped by taking cannabis in baked goods!

Cannabis Contains Over 400 Chemicals, Which Proves it’s Dangerous

This is a half truth – yes, cannabis can contain this many chemicals, but this is very much a scare number. Not all chemicals are deadly, and to put this into perspective coffee contains 1,500 chemicals, while rat poison contains just 30. The take home message of this? The number of chemicals in a product has no relation as to how dangerous it is!

The Slang Term ‘420’ Comes From Police Codes

This is just plain wrong. 420 (pronounced “Four-Twenty”) is not police radio code for anything, and is not related to penal code. Nor is it because of Hitler’s birthday (April 4th), the date of the Columbine school shootings (this was terminology years before then) or based on the number of active chemicals in marijuana. The term actually comes from San Rafael High School in the 1970s, where some of the students would meet up at 4:20pm after class. The code was developed so they could talk openly about their plans without alerting their parents to their drug use!

Nowadays the code is so well known that this won’t work as a strategy. Some people use the term “420 friendly” to show their acceptance of marijuana use, and April 20th has become National Pot Smoker’s Day in homage to the students – who are now in their 50s.

Cannabis Damages the Brain/Reproductive System/Immune System

All of these claims have been levelled at cannabis on the back of some fairly shaky science. Let’s tackle these one by one:

* The brain damage accusation was the result of an experiment by Dr Robert Heath from the late 1970s. It claims to demonstrate brain damage in rhesus monkeys as a consequence of marijuana. It was however reviewed by a distinguished panel of scientists in 1982 and was found to have severe weaknesses: the sample was too small (just four monkeys), it failed to control experimental bias and crucially misidentifying a normal monkey brain structure as damaged! Subsequent studies have shown no evidence of brain damage.

* The claim that marijuana damages the reproductive system is based on two bits of research – one based on isolated tissue cells in petri dishes, and the other based on animal research. Both are invalid – the scientific community has stated that isolated cells cannot be compared to full human beings, and the animals in question were given near-lethal dosages of cannabinoids – far more than one would get from a ‘normal’ dose. Further to this, the animals that didn’t die in the testing returned to normal within 30 days. Suffice it to say, no studies of actual human populations have demonstrated any evidence of this!

* The immune system myth has the same problems as the reproductive ones – animals were given close to lethal dosages of cannabinoids making comparisons invalid. In fact, a couple of studies undertaken in 1978 showed that cannabis and hashish may actually boost the immune system in some!

People Have Died as a Direct Consequence of Cannabis Abuse

Not true. Scientists have carried out experiments on animals, and the results show you would need an extraordinarily high dosage of cannabis to be lethal. In fact, the amount of cannabinoids required to get a person stoned relative to the amount needed to kill is around 1:40,000. To put this into everyday sense, you would need to consume 40,000 times as much cannabis as would get you stoned to have a lethal dosage.

Let’s put this into further into perspective. Alcohol’s relative intoxication to death ratio is between 1:4 and 1:10. No wonder alcohol is responsible for the deaths of more than 5,000 people every year.

Cannabis is More Potent Today Than in the Past

This is a common myth based on bad data. The researchers who made these claims measured the THC content of marijuana seized in the early 70s, but fail to take into account the poor storage of the samples in question, which will have lead to a decline in its potency before any tests could be undertaken. Independent assessments on unseized street cannabis from the 1970s shows the potency is roughly the same as it has ever been.

These are far from the only myths around cannabis, and the drug is sure to attract more in the future. Remember, if it sounds dubious then look up the facts yourself. The old adage of “don’t believe everything you read” should apply doubly when dealing with facts about cannabis and marijuana seeds.

Trying to distance himself from bush, he stammered on.

"Senator Obama has the most liberal voting record in the Senate," Mr. McCain said at one point.

Mr. Obama shot back, "Mostly that's just me opposing George Bush's wrong-headed policies."

Both men said they are likely to support the Wall Street bailout package being crafted in Washington, but Mr. Obama went farther, blaming the problem on Mr. Bush and Mr. McCain.

"We've had years in which the reigning economic ideology has been what's good for Wall Street, but not what's good for Main Street," Mr. Obama said.

Just hours before the debate it had been unclear whether it would even take place. Mr. McCain had proposed postponing the affair so he and Mr. Obama could help broker a bailout agreement in Washington. He also unilaterally suspended his campaign ads.

But Mr. Obama refused to delay the debate, arguing presidents must handle more than one issue. And facing pressure from even within his own party, Mr. McCain reversed course Friday morning, saying that even though no deal was done he felt good enough about its progress to restart his campaign.

Little new ground was broken on the Iraq war, with Mr. Obama saying Mr. McCain was wrong to vote for the war in 2002 and Mr. McCain accusing Mr. Obama of being wrong on how to save the war effort.

"The next president of the United States is going to have to decide how we leave, when we leave, and what we leave behind," not whether to invade, Mr. McCain said, repeatedly criticizing Mr. Obama for opposing the troop surge that has helped quell violence.

But Mr. Obama said by joining Mr. Bush in supporting the war at the beginning, Mr. McCain cannot see a path out.

"John, you like to pretend like the war started in 2007. You talk about the surge, the war started in 2003," he said. "And at the time, when the war started, you said it was going to be quick and easy. You said we knew where the weapons of mass destruction were. You were wrong. SOME "NATURAL BORN KILLERS" :

Cucumbers are one example of natural pest control. It's using natural and generally non-toxic ingredients to repel or get rid of pests including ants, wasps, mites, moths, flies and other insects.
Using the peel can deter ants from coming in.
So,Why use toxic chemicals all over your house.There is growing evidence that synthetic pesticides pose a health risk to humans and animals.

Another way to think of protection is to grow certain plants around the perimeter of your home. They not only look nice, but will also deter pests. Plants known to repel ants and aphids include: spearmint, peppermint and pennyroyal.
Eucalyptus is another fantastic pest repeller.

You can use the same trick for fly control. Just substitute the above plants with mint and basil which repel flies, but smell good to humans.

ROACH CONTROL :

Baking soda and powdered sugar mixed in equal parts is a good roach killer. Just spread around the area where you see roaches and soon you won't see them anymore. (Boric Acid, while slightly more toxic, is naturally occurring and is another way to get rid of them.)This is the same ingredient found in TEAM BORAX laundry booster.

FLEA CONTROL :

Grind up rosemary leaves into a fine dust and sprinkle it onto your pet or bedding to ward off fleas.Some Aromatic oils work also , but may be too strong on your pet.

First,obtain a narrow necked bottle (like a wine bottle)...then put a small amount of sweet fruit,(I.E Watermelon, Mango, Hard candy, or even small piece of meat)into bottom of bottle. Add a few drops of water.Place where flies have been a problem.

Flies will enter bottle to feast,but will NOT be able to get out !!!!

Vinegar is a great weed killer.just use WHITE vinegar on those pesky weeds to rid yourself of them.Use only the strongest vinegar you can find since most are diluted.

SLUG CONTROL :

Here are two methods to deal with slugs and snails ;
HUMANE WAY :
Take an old small flower pot or pie tin and turn upside down. Then "prop" up edge with a small stone to allow some clearance.When the day becomes hot,slugs and snails will seek comfort under your "shelter".Now at the end of the day,check underneath and you will find your pests.You can either dispose of them by trash or SHOE !!!

SECOND METHOD :
Use old saucer or plate,add some beer, just keep most for you.Snails will drink and die.

While natural pest control products are a great step up from most commercial insecticides, you should still be careful about using them. THE DIVORCE DIET

A few years back , I seemed to be on some new fad diet. I guess it started when I "lost" about 130 lbs. ....namely my EX. Well,little did i know that this sudden weight loss would bring me change. Dubbed the DIVORCE DIET , I proceeded to be as phyisically fit as i can to spite my Ex-wife. Tedious workouts,eating good things weren't enough.My 'inner-fat" had to be purged,and quickly. My inner fat consisted of bad thoughts, heavy side order of stress and low esteem.

After this enormous weight was now lifted, I could enjoy life like i should. Without reporting to anyone, being on my time and enjoying some freedom is the ultimate benefit . I realized that my physical state was never the "problem" , only that verbal abuse was weight i could not bear. Sometimes the guys are not the bad guys , there are just bad people.

Sure , i indulged. Sometimes it was food, sometimes it was booze , but i finally saw the light. This type of physical torment was easily changed, i feel "healthier'.

My goal is not to be "hollywood healthy' but be "happy'......

It restores your nervous system function bringing about increased brain function, reduced nervousness, better sleep and improved sexual function. This is the herb that has helped the 60, 70, 80 even 90 year olds in Brazil have a healthy sex life naturally.

There are no known side effects with catuaba except the occasional upset stomach and diarrhea when it is first introduced to the diet. The main concern is that you are actually purchasing real catuaba bark, as there are several exporters who export the bark as catuaba, but it is in fact from the wrong tree. There are 2 forms of catuaba tree that supplies the actual bark that is medicinally known for its benefits and the scientific names for these two is Erythroxylum catuaba and Trichilia catigua.

The standard daily dose is 1000mg to 2000mg. There has not been any standardization of the extract’s concentration.

6. MUIRA PAUMA BARK EXTRACT – The muira pauma is another rainforest tree found in South America and Africa. This plant’s benefits also focus on the nervous system to treat various ailments such as paralysis, beri-beri, rheumatism, grippe, and cardiac and gastrointestinal weakness, baldness and sexual dysfunction, such as impotence, infertility and menstrual disturbances.

There are no reported side effects from muira pauma except the occasional upset stomach and diarrhea when it is first introduced to the diet. It is also commonly exported as muira pauma bark extract from a similar tree whose bark does not have the same medical benefits, the scientific name for it is Liriosma ovate, so be sure that before you purchase muira pauma that it does not come from this tree.

The recommended dosage is 1500mg daily and there are no concentration standards for the muira pauma bark extract.

7. CUSCUTA SEED EXTRACT – The cuscata is commonly known as dodder plant and it is commonly used to increase sperm production and its fertility. New research has shown that it helps with treating impotence.

There are rumors that cuscuta seed extract, when ingested in high quantities, caused lack of sleep. There are no case studies showing this effect as the studies done use standard dosages when administering it. There have also never been any claims of upset stomach or diarrhea with cuscuta seed extract.

The recommended dosage is 10g to 15g boiled in 3 cups of water for 20 minutes, some have said to increase that dosage up to 25 grams of cuscuta seed extract in 3 cups of water each day. It is standardized to 2.5% flavonoids.

8. ASIAN GINSENG – There are several kinds of ginseng available on the market today, but the one that shows the most sexual function benefit is the asian ginseng. It is commonly used to restore energy both physically and mentally and in sexual function it has a significant benefit in preventing premature ejaculation.

Asian ginseng has similar side effects as other forms of ginseng which include difficulty falling asleep when taken in large quantities and an upset stomach when it is first introduced to the diet.

Triple digit weather is here,suntan lotion,screaming ghetto hids and all.
Don't get me wrong...I love the beach,but when the sand is covered with garbage,diapers,condoms and god knows what else,it's probably best to watch where to go.

California beaches are some of the worst looking after a weekend. And people DON"T CARE !!!!

Well,it seems i got a problem....started day after i went to a recent concert at the HOUSE OF BLUES.

The ADICTS were playing and it kicked ass !!!!

Anyways , I woke up the next day eith what is called a EYE FLOATER , went to the V.A. hospital to get checked (U.S.ARMY VET),and was told i have diabetes and tha i will need laser surgery to correct.

Please Read the following , Because this can be VERY common :

What are Floaters?
A floater is the term commonly used to describe small spots in your field of vision. Floaters cast shadows over the retina (the light-sensitive inner layer of the eye) and the retina in turn then sends visual signals to the brain, resulting in an image being seen.

PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH "FLOATERS"
Degenerative changes occur in the vitreous that shrink and may detach from the retina. This can cause a small amount of bleeding and is particularly common amongst people who are nearsighted or have had cataract surgery. Floaters that are caused by bleeding from an abnormal growth of blood vessels can lead to hemorrhages inside the eye. DIABETES

Abnormal blood vessel growth can also lead to scar tissue that tends to shrink and this shrinkage causes wrinkling, dragging, distortion, detachment or tearing of the retina.

Help for Floaters
If floaters persist and symptoms are worrying, it is advisable to have a thorough eye examination. Generally, if the number of floaters in the eye have increased or worsened, you should have it diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible. In most cases, floaters do not require treatment because eventually they do disappear.

When floaters appear in your line of vision, you should try to move your eye around or try looking up or down to move the floaters. There are no medications available to treat floaters. However, if floaters occur as a result of inflammatory eye disease, certain medications may be prescribed to treat the inflammation.

In more severe cases, surgery may be needed to remove floaters and prevent blindness. Surgical options include procedures such as vitrectomy and laser eye treatments like conventional LASIK are performed. Vitrectomy helps to remove scar tissue, clear blood and debris from the eye while LASIK corrects visual impairment.

My doctor explained this condition i have with ABNORMAL VESSEL GROWTH , and suggested laser surgery to correct.Even as i type it moves in and out of my field of vision.

It is very annoying.

Soon, I will be screened, but i am sure i will be diagnosed with diabetes.

SIGNS OF A RESIDUAL HAUNTING: Sometimes, this type of activity can make itself known in similar ways to an "Intelligent" haunting, but the most important signs will be different. A spirit, or an image in this case, will not interact with any of the living occupants of the location.

The activity, and the sightings, will be random. There will be no missing items. While doors and windows may open and close by themselves, it will be because of energy expending itself and not because of spirit activity. Commonly reported in these cases are sounds of footsteps, walking and breathing and odd, usually repetitive sounds. When dealing with ghosts don't look for any rules or absolutes. There are circumstances that seem to create a more ghostly atmosphere, but there are no guarantees on predicting when and where a ghost will appear.
When it comes to ghost hunting the only rule is be ready for anything.

Recurring Hauntings/Ghosts

Recurring apparitions are ghosts that occur in regular cycles over a period of time, usually once annually. This type of ghost sighting is one of the most popular. REALISTIC PHOTO PRINT EFFECT

Step 1:
First create the thin border of the photograph OR image you choose.
Use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to draw a rectangle the shape of a photo.
Create a new layer and call it frame, fill the selection with a gradient going from white to beige (#F7F2E7) like in the picture below.

Or whatever shade coloring you are looking for.

Step 2:Create a new layer and call it mask, with the selection still active shrink the selection by 4 - 6 px.
Fill the selection with whatever color you like, we will use this layer as a layer mask for our real picture in the next step.

Step 3: Insert the image you want to use to create realistic photo, make sure the image is in a layer above the mask layer.
Hold down the Alt button and position the mouse between the mask layer and the picture layer, the mouse pointer should look like the picture to the left, now left click.

Your image should now only be visible inside the rectangle you created in the mask layer.Now you can resize and move the image as you like inside this rectangle.

Now you can resize and move the image as you like inside this rectangle.

Step 4:Create a new layer and call it white gradient, set the foreground color to white, select the gradient tool and open the gradient editor.
Select the gradient called “Foreground to Transparent” which should be in your presets list.
Click the left Opacity stop and set the opacity to 50% as demonstrated in the picture bellow.

Step 5:Draw a gradient from the bottom right corner towards the upper left corner as demonstrated in the image bellow.
Change the foreground color to black and create a new layer and call it black gradient now create the same gradient but in the opposite corner.

Step 7:Instead of applying a basic drop shadow we will create a more realistic shadow.
Start by creating a new layer called shadow and place the shadow layer below the frame layer, click the frame layer preview.Right click the selection and select Make work path, set the tolerance to 10.

Step 8:Select the Path selection tool and add an anchor point on the right and bottom side of the path, to add an anchor point you simply right click the path and select Add anchor point.
Move the anchor points.

Step 9:Right click the path and select Make selection to transform it back to a selection.
Fill the selection with black and deselect by hitting ctrl + D, set the layer opacity to 50% and apply a gaussian blur (Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur) with about 6px in radius.

PhotoShop Trick : Easy Reflection Effect

I am going to show you how you can add reflections to your text, shapes or objects. This is a very easy technique and can be used in web design or interesting photo effects.

As an example, I will add a reflection to some text, however you can also use the same technique to add reflections to shapes or objects.

The first step is to duplicate our text layer. You can do that by simply going to Layer - Duplicate layer.

You can also add a bit of perspective or not to the reflection layer by transforming it (Edit->Transform->Perspective) if you want.Flip this layer by using Free Transform/ Flip vertical.

The next step is to add a layer mask to the duplicate layer. To do this simply click on the add layer mask button in the layers palette.

Now pick the Gradient Tool and draw a gradient (black to white) in the direction that the arrow is showing in the screenshot .
(SEE EXAMPLE BELOW)

Finally just reduce the opacity of the duplicate layer and you are all done. I reduced the opacity and here is my final result.

There is no set rules in using this technique......experiment with the opacity to set the effect you are looking for.

PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL : AIRBRUSH SKIN

Airbrush your photos in Photoshop - Quick and easy

First start with a picture (unprocessed/filtered),scanned or from digital camera.
For example : This pretty lady

Step 1

After opening image up in Photoshop, the first thing we will do is to use the Heal Brush to remove any obvious marks, scars, blemishes. Be as thorough as you like here, as the cleaner the skin is to start with, the better the results at the final step .
Use an appropriate brush size (try 13 small) in order to sample and brush away the blemishes and bad marks without losing any important detail.Try to get all the bad areas , including wrinkles (crowsfeet), etc.

Step 2

Once you are finished with the Heal Brush, duplicate the layer and apply the Dust and Scratches filter.

Filter > Noise > Dust & Scratches

For this example, I used a radius of 5 pixels and a threshold of 0. You can adjust these to suit your image as needed. The result you are looking for is a creamy blend of features, without too much banding of color.
You can adjust as necessary.

Step 3
The next filter to use is the Gaussion Blur. This will remove any banding that might have occurred in the previous step, and give the whole image a creamier complexion. Even coloring is what we are after.

Filter > Blur > Gaussion Blur

I used a radius around 2 for this example. Again, adjust as necessary for each image.

Step 4

The final step in preparing your photo's new complexion is to add subtle texture. Skin generally would not have a plastic or store-dummy complexion, so by adding some filter noise we will give the photo a more realistic look.

Note: If your looking to experiment with this step in your artwork,it can produce some interesting results with still subjects (doll-like complexions) .

Filter > Noise > Add Noise

I used an amout of 0.10% noise (minimum setting), select uniform with Monochromatic box selected. As always, adjust to suit your image or result you are happy with .

Step 5

We are now ready to digitally correct our photo with perfect skin !!!

Add a layer mask to the layer we have been filtering and fill it with black. This will cause the image to disappear and the layer beneath (the original) will show through.
Nothing to worry about - it's still there, it's just been hidden or 'masked' with black.

Step 6
In this step we get the 'paint' the new complexion right on. It is at this stage that a steady hand and attention to details comes to the forefront.Take your time in this step,If you have a WACOM TABLET this will be fun !!!!

Select the Brush Tool and make sure your colour is White. I chose a brush size of around 30 pixels and a hardness of 0%. You can adjust the size of your brush as you "paint" over the image in order to get into the tight corners etc.(hairline , around eyes , etc.)

The whole idea is to "cover" the old original skin with your new and improved skin.

If you do accidently paint over something you didn't really want to, simply change the brush colour BACK to black and you can erase your mistake.
This process is identical to working with Quick Mask Mode.

Step 7
After your finished "painting",you should see what has occured to the mask layer.

Step 8

Here you can "TWEAK" the color balance of your photo, just remember a little goes a long way,so I will add a Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer.

Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation

Step 9

Now you can try some PHOTO-style filters if you like, or go to next step.

Step 12

The final step is to apply sharpen to the image (just a little bit !!!).Instead of clicking on a SHARPNESS filter,we will do a simple and interesting step.

First, duplicate the original layer. Then, Simply drag the original layer onto the new layer button on the layers pallette . Set this new layer to Overlay the original.

APPLY High Pass filter to the new layer.

Filter > Other > High Pass

Use only a small amount, only to show detail.

Once that filter is applied you can adjust the opacity of the layer and it will increase/decrease the level of sharpening.

YOUR FINAL RESULT :

(I gave her DARKFLAME eyes,but hope this helps......)

Here's some new additions to my website .....definetly not common on cars.

DON'T BE A DECAL DUMMY

listen up, being in a hurry can make you a decal dummy.
Too many ways decal application can go wrong !! Everything from misalignment to "bubbles".

Decals come in three parts; The backing paper , The decal design , and finally the Transfer paper.

Generally . there "two" ways to apply decals.

The First method is called : The Dry method - First and foremost the surface area for the decal MUST be completely clean (no dust, dirt, material or grease).THIS CANNOT BE OVERLOOKED. If area was freshly painted,be very cautious that paint has properly cured prior to install. Otherwise ,it may be possible decal would pull paint if surface is not fully cured.

Install during normal weather conditions,dry (no wind) to minimize problems.
Glass cleaners,ammonia type cleaners are commonly NOT used for install,try using ALCOHOL to prep surface(leaves NO residue).

Line up decal to desired position:(you can use a small piece of masking tape at top of decal to help center),SLOWLY peel backing paper away , and press down decal / transfer paper to surface. Starting from center use a credit card to firmly and evenly work strokes to have decal adhere to surface and release from transfer paper.Take your time,to ensure no bubbles are visible.
Finally, lift a corner slowly and peel away transfer paper.
THAT'S IT YOUR DONE !!!!!

The Second method : The Wet Method

Wet Solution needed : mix 1 teaspoon of Dawn Dish Soap or Joy with one gallon of water,use a spray bottle then mist the application area prior to installation.
Applications are basically the same, however this method is a little more forgiving if decal needs to be "tweaked" into place.
But , As a rule decals cannot be placed and replaced too many times, so be sure of placement !!!

Dealing With Bubbles and Problems
You will probably end up with some bubbles in your decal application. Small bubbles will go away in time (the film breathes, and will flatten out after a few weeks at an appropriate temperature). If you want to work on the bubbles immediately, then poke them with a pin, pressing the film down with your
thumb immediately afterwards. Have patience though, the decal will lay flat on it’s own in time unless the bubbles are unusually large.If there was some grit or other material caught under decal,then it will be probably visible.

LARGE DECALS : Always use some extra hands to help line up and finish up decals.

And if all goes well, your decals should have years of durability, under normal conditions.

Most of you when looking for decals , stickers and or graphics may not fully understand the "business" behind decal creation.So, i'm going to explain some important points to look for when shopping for vinyl stickers.

Some websites and shops use certain terminology when describing material and overall quality.

For instance,there are 3 types of vinyl material used to create decals.
1. calendered vinyl:

It's the very basic material with the shortest life and cheapest cost, therefore not recommended for any long-lasting use.It has been known to shrink, crack,and even fade color.This type of vinyl material is generally thicker.

2. Intermediate vinyl grade:
A better choice for most applications due to it's longer durability (5-7 year) compared to calendered (1-3 year).Good choice for most flat surfaces and has less shrink problems.Easy application and conforms to slight surface contours.

3. Cast vinyl:
The best for all decal applications,like car graphics,truck-trailer graphics,etc.
Superior life (up to 10 years) depending on manufacturer.A very thin material(around 2 mil) thickness ensures greater conforming attributes.It also provides greater protection against weathering and fade.

All the above types of vinyl are used throughout the decal/sign making industry,but knowing that a particular vinyl material may be better for your project, will definitely point you in the right direction.

All manufacturers provide countless colors for you , no matter the type of vinyl you purchase.

the bottom line :

Calendered Vinyl
Short term life. 1-3 years depending on brand. Flat surfaces only. 3 mil or thicker.Cheapest material used.Generally used in signmaking,menus or when cost is an issue.

Intermediate Vinyl
Medium term life.Basic use 5-6 years depending on brand. Flat and simple contours. Good choice over calendered vinyl.

Cast Vinyl
Long term life. 7-9 years typical life. Flat, contour and rivets. 2 mil Thickness for the best contour fit.Best choice for full graphics and superior color retention.

THE ACCURACY OF THE FOLLOWING ARE SOMEWHAT QUESTIONABLE ...Since most governmental agencies keep a tight rein on common citizens. I think you will be a bit surprised to read about the following that happen to be on the books .

-- It is illegal for any member of the Nevada Legislature or office to conduct
official business wearing a penis costume while the legislature is in
session. (I have seen this at a 7-11 store)

-- In New Mexico, it's legal for couples to have sex in a
parked vehicle during their lunch break from work, as long as the car or
van has drawn curtains to stop strangers from peeking in. (nooners)

-- Anywhere in the U.S., it's illegal to use any live endangered
species, except insects, in public or private sexual displays, shows
or exhibits depicting cross-species sex.

(I don't know about you , having a cockroach jumping up and down on my peepee ,really doesn't sound sexy.)

-- In certain eastern states (you know who you are) it is illegal to engage in sexual activity
with the lights on.

(reports state that women from these areas have large case of the uglies !!!!)

-- In Minnesota, it is illegal for any man to have sexual intercourse
with a live fish.
(fish ??? women ??? What's the difference ????)

Happy 70th Birthday !!!

Wow 70 years young , and still going strong....for those who don't know she's probably the most active senior you will ever see. She looks no where near her age , driving , no grey hair (ever), running, biking, grandma for the new century.

She really is in fatstic shape,always weighing NO more than a 120 pounds since teenage years.
She swears by APPLE CIDER VINEGAR in her diet everyday. She does NOT take ANY medication what so ever. All of her siblings are not so fortunate,many suffer the effects of advancing age, bad vision,and bad health.

Hopefully i GOT her GENES !!!!

Such Wisdom in those words...I have been "lucky" lately to be involved with a business project involving a large Buddhist Temple Community here in good ol'e
sunny California. I have been welcomed by the master/teachers there.
Everyday i looked forward to go back and wrap myself with all of the "good" energy there. It's like being in a far off land, beautiful gardens, statues and architechure inspired from ancient periods of long ago.

I see children looking with wide eyes at the Great statues and enormity of the temples.

There is such peace here from what is our own miserable world we live in , to be back in time at such a period must have been wonderous.

Incense , the sound of water fountains and bright colors really do give fact that spirit , wellness ,harmony and balance are truly present.

For what's it's worth i have been blessed (I believe i have )

Here we go again....Apparently Florida and Michigan which held early primary votes early this year were warned that such tallys would prove null. A whopping waste of time,and not be considered countable for any of the candiates..... WTF ???

Florida in particular is a crucial battleground in presidential politics and was infamous after its role in the contested result of the 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore. Bad Ballot counting ,handling brought unwelcome attention to the state. I guess all of the blue-haired old bats should pay more attention !!!!

Locals says area paranormally "hot",i did not go in cave but took b/w pictures with digicam,cause rock formations were freaky !!!!

I took photo of entrance cuz i wuz too chicken shit to go in with flashlight.I was more concerned with crackheads and bats then spirits ....took several photos but got this jewel to stand out ...i think a woman,but not sure which direction she's looking ..I don't know how far back cave/mine goes back.I sharpen photo so you can see smoke/light better...

BEHOLD HORROR HOUND ... My mascot as it were. Not a typical decal ...right ? I made this for a "day care " center, just kidding. Sometimes when you cut down on sleep. eat bad Mexican food, or miss too much church you "envision" such creations. I decided to design this monstrosity into a decal , as you undoubtedly wont see something like this on your typical mini-van. Sure it would probably be cool on a skateboard or even on a dirt bike , but what kind of soccer mom would sport this ...well i will tell you ...A COOL ONE !!!!

"BUCKETS", "HOOPTIES" ,"SCRAP YARD REFUGEE" seem to fit certain cars from all corners of the world. We all see them from time to time. Remember your first car ???
My car that i "fondly" remember was a 1972 vw beetle ,that i had owned while stationed in Germany. Up on a bulletin board, i saw the ad. I thought ....."wow" a few hundred bucks ??? Well, I had my good friend drive me 2 hours to a village outside of Landstuhl,germany, all the while reading the ad about the car, wondering if it will be worth it.

FINALLY WE ARRIVE

Thank god , beer which i assume is the country's national 'food' was available ,especially ....now. My "car" as it turned out ...was BRIGHT ORANGE ,with white rims,torn head liner, exposed wiring,and a seat held straight with a screwdriver shish-kabobed into the side of it. I wasn't sure if i should help save the car or put a bullet in it.

I loved it !!!! I had "plans" for it , I pictured dumping the sunkist orange color immediately (made my teeth hurt),for a cool flat black color (My STEALTH BUG).
I kept that car for 3 years, and am reminded of it from time to time.

SO LONG FEBRUARY ..YOU SUCKED !!!

Once again , FEB did not go soon enough. A month of Valentine amnesia , crappy weather , leap year , and lack of sunny Saturdays.

So as i scarf down some greasy , over-cooked pizza , i type away. Well today was long, started in oceanside ,got lost around vista or carlsbad (hell had to give a bum some change before i could get a drunken answer about where i was). It's amazing how much body odor a person can generate !!!!

So back in the right direction , I get red lights , people digging in their nose, blinker-less lane changes , 1/4 tank of gas , taco bell, and a faulty "engine temp" gauge.But i'm still moving towards home !!!
Any job that entails "driving" as a daily requirement SUCKS....When i finally get to relax...I need some motrin to chew on. I been grinding away at work ..6 days aweek,which doesn't leave to much time to update pages and do my log.

TODAY IS A RANT DAY

End of the week feels like i just started....

What a year to "represent" the hood, as long as you're not too old or too (heaven forbid) too "white". I get many requests and suggestions to be more "URBAN". Look at the image here...Most old (Gramps and Grannies-Leave it to beaver types) would probably shun this type of art or say... " Oy Vey,Look at that dirty Swartza over there , wit the crooked cap and big loud car !!!".

Sure they smell funny...They fall asleep when you are talking to them...Some have a thousand cats and "feed" every bird and/or animal this side of Texas. But hey, they are naive. If only i had a Time Machine . I would make their "23 SKIDOO","SHAMMA LAMMA DING DONG",or whatever was the current 'words' used during that time, into the decals that are in use today.

It Was a more Innocent time then , i get that , the youth of yesteryear are grown and senile now. I always thought being "GHETTO" was bad , but here's a market of

I myself thinking that i'm a "worldly" expert on what is palatable or interesting,decided to "try" something new,something different.Well so much for being "open' to new things.......so,check this out.

I got this single mission, find a market,deli or back alley to find the elusive cheese.Why do they call it cheese????? There is no milk in it that i know of.There is absolutely no way i am going to "melt' it for a grilled cheese sandwich.

According to the ingredients :

and allowed to cool in a mold"

Well let me tell you anyone that considers this conglomerate of entrails,beaks,feet,testicle chips,ear lobes something to yell about is mistaken.
I sure third world countries would even consider my "sandwich" an unholy creation.
Did some poor retch one day come home and say ..."I could sure use some cow jelly on my plate ! " ???? Not likely. I'm sure the wife and kids back then would have rathered boiled an old boot then have that.
Apparently one can still get this marvel of modern "eats".considering that twinkies are known to have no shelf life,i think i'll eat things heavy in preservatives.

WELL,SEEMS I FOUND MY SELF AWAKE LATE . (again)
Sorry...it's the monster Energy drink talking.So Many people have the same problem it seems. I just left some chat room,updated some web pages,drank down (guarana laced) potion(god do i love MONSTER),hit spell check about 45 times,and have to start all over again at 6 am.

Donuts have been a staple of humankind since cavemen rolled one out of bronto-dung back a few million years ago. I mean in this health minded society many are too swift to judge this intoxicating treat.When you chomp down on one it's heaven in your hand. The way it glistens with excessive sugar goodness.It's portability,it's a cheap date.

So many choices,like a swinging playboy picking out his favorite bed hag,it satisfies.

As for being it's own food group,ponder this ......

Rain rain go away ...never sounded like the most approiate saying ,but it fits.
I don't know about you,but it seems every chance i get to have some weekend time,it drizzles,pours or showers.

Well as most of you will agree, some "road warriors",well vehicle owners leave alot to be desired when styling their ride.

I mean how many 'raider' stickers can a sub-compact hold ??
